Prime College is a CISCO ASC (Academic Support Center) of Nepal. It is a certified Cisco Networking Academy, running the Cisco Networking Academy Program (CNAP). Developed by Cisco System, this program is accepted worldwide, especially for educational institutions. Prime College offers Cisco Certified Network Network Associate (CCNA) Program, which is a comprehensive four semester / 280-hrs web-based academic course, that teaches students and in-transitiion workers to design, build and maintain computer networks. CCNA program worth Rs. 20,000 is available free of costs to BIM / B.Sc. (CSIT) students of Prime College.
IT Policy Program (ITPP), Seoul National University
Prime College has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with ITPP-SNU, Republic of Korea. The main objective of this MoU is to foster collaboration; provide opportunities for global experience and to facilitate the advancement of knowledge. There will be exchange of cooperation and sharing and dissemination of information for bridging knowledge gap.
Nepal Research and Education Network (NREN) has been established as a facilitator to support an advanced research and education network through the means of Information and Communication Technology. Prime helps to support good ICT initiatives and research in the country. This entity has been established as a non-profit network under the college, affiliated to Tribhuvan University, in collaboration with various organizations.
Griffith University located in Gold Coast, Australia is one of the the leading institutions in Australia for higher education. The faculties and students are collabrating with the faculty members and students of Tribhuvan University in conducting long term research on biodiversity and environment. Prime college is extending collabration with Griffith University for student and faculty exchange program in the field of information technology and environmental studies.
