Farewell To Players

The college on 26th Jan,organized a farewell programme to its eight players who made it into various national squads for the South Asian Games in Dhaka.

The College has eight students in four national teams, with the largest share of four players in the national basketball squad. Bikram Joshi, Yukta Ram Bhakta Mathema, Binod Shrestha and Sadish Pradhan survived the final cut of 12 playeres. Table Tennis team has two students-Nabita Shrestha and Ajay Suwal, while Wushu and Swimming have one each. Nayana Shakya, who is actively involved in with the college's basketbal team, is in the national swimming team, and Binita Maharjan, one of the medal hopefuls in Dhaka is in Wushu team.

Out of the eight students, Binita and Nayana could not attend the felicitation programme due to their commitments with the national team. Binita is in China for a warm up match session, and Nayana is currently undergoing trainning in Bangladesh.

All of the members were given a set of tracksuit by the college. Principal of the college, Naresh Prasad Shrestha announced scholorship to all eight students as long as they wish to continue their studies here at Prime. Along with scholorship, principal Shrestha also offered players with employment opportunity in the college's sports department.
