I. SUPERIOR FACULTY

1. Combination of Experienced and Dedicated Faculties:
London based Artificial Intelligence (AI) expert Associate Professor Dr. Suresh Manandhar provides special classes. Prominent IT expert of Nepal, Dr. Bhushan Shrestha, plans and supervises IT education. Prof. Dr. K.D. Koirala, a prominent management and marketing expert, will guide us in pursuit of academic excellence. Our plus two science program will be guided by an advisory committee, consisting eminent personalities in that field. Prime College is also proud of its senior and dedicated faculties in all subject areas.

II. STRONG ICT INFRASTRUCTURE & SUPPORT:

1. Computer Labs with Wireless Network Environment:
There are two highly sophisticated computer labs with wireless network environment in the college. The labs are well equipped with latest computers on a LAN running with a dedicated file server. In tune with ever-changing technology, the college upgrades the system with advanced software and hardware. The student computer ratio is 1:1. Our computer labs are equipped with Gigabit Ethernet (1000 Mbps) for high speed multimedia and video network.

2. Uninterrupted Power Backup:
For uninterrupted functioning, all computers are covered with power backup system thus ensuring the safety of the student’s hard work. We have installed the latest and powerful generator system, ensuring adequate power supply all the time.

3. Internet Access:
Prime College provides students with free internet access to obtain information and other supplementary study materials. High speed leased line is available for students.

4. True ICT based Education:
Prime College is a true ICT based College which uses IT not only in teaching-learning, but also in entire academic management. Our student web server provides on-line tutorials and other valuable educational resources for students.

5. Individual E-mail Account:
We have our own mail server which provides individual
E-mail account to all students and faculty.

6. Air-conditioned Computer Labs and Library:
With a view to improving facilities for better learning, the
computer labs and library are air conditioned.

7. Digital Electronic Lab:
The College provides the “State of the Art” digital electronic lab. This enables the students to acquire and develop their hardware skills at par with the industrial expectations.

III. OTHER FACILITIES:

1. Class Rooms:
Cozy classrooms are furnished with white boards, comfortable seating arrangements and audio-visual teaching and presentation aids like: multi-media projectors, OHPs, TV and VCRs.

2. Library:
Prime College Library has a growing collection of the latest and relevant books, journals, magazines, CD-ROMs on Information Technology, Management, Economics, Sociology, Psychology, Mathematics, Statistics and English etc. The study in the library is supported by computer facilities.

3. Sports and Recreational Activities:
Prime College has a big playground for sports activities- basketball (International Standard Full Court), badminton, table tennis etc. Sports are as much part of Prime College as the routine academic exercises.

4. Extra Curricular Activities:
With the purpose of overall development as a professional, students are encouraged to take active part in public speaking, group discussions, quizzes, exhibitions and management seminars and festivals. The college also organizes industrial tours for the students that include manufacturing, commercial/service establishments to give them hands-on experience.

IV. STUDENT SERVICES:

1. On-Campus Jobs:
Deserving BIM/BBA students are offered part time on-campus-jobs.

2. Placement Service:
The college management will assist deserving graduates in the job placement service after their graduation.

STUDENT WEB PORTAL
Prime College students have a web portal of its own containing different sections like entertainment, e-magazine, e-pal, chat room and many more. Prime College students are handling this portal independently.

SCHOLARSHIPS
Prime college has merit scholarships for outstanding students. For deserving and needy students, we also have some scholarships sponsored by business houses, donors and reputed personalities to honor and further motivate the outstanding performance of the students.
