Throughout the internship sessions, the fnal semester students are positioned at various acclaimed organizations for a period of eight weeks. Each student makes their own internship report, based on their experience and time spent at the organizations.
Evaluation of the industrial attachment project report
shall carry a weightage equivalent to 6 credit hours,
and a minimum grade of ‘C’ is a must for the students
to secure.
Examination & Evaluation
The BIM/BBA program will be conducted through the semester system which shall be completed in 8 semesters. The internal (on-going) evaluation and external (end-of-semester) examination shall carry 40% and 60% weight-age respectively. The fnal grade shall be determined by the overall performance in internal and external examinations conducted by the FOM.
Passing Grade and Grading System
Students must secure a minimum of grade ‘C’ or a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.0 in the internal evaluation in order to qualify for appearance in the semester examination. In order to pass the semester examination, a student must secure a Grade ‘C’ or the average Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.0. The successful completion of 126 credit hours is prescribed with a minimum passing grade in all papers with an aggregate CGPA of 2.00. Completion of course for fulfllment of the requirement of the BIM/BBA program must be within 7 years from the time of registration.

Make- up Examination & Re-Examination
Any students with Grade of ‘C’ in a semester but failure in one or more course at the end of the semester examination can appear in the make-up examination in the subsequent semester.
A student can appear in only two courses (6 credit hours) in the make-up examination if the student fails in the make- up
examination he/she shall have to re-register and repeat the course as per the cycle. A student can register only two courses (6 credit hours) in a semester. The examination of the reregistration course shall be held as per the course cycle.
Credit Transfter & withdrawal
Students can transfer the credits earned to a similar program in other universities recognized by Tribhuvan University. The maximum credit allowed to a student shall be 30 credit hours. The FOM has the authority to decide on credit transfers. A student who has partially completed BIM/BBA program and would like to discontinue his/her studies shall also be allowed to withdraw from the respective program. In such a case, a certifcate specifying the credit earned by student in the program shall be provided.
